Job summary

GERIATRIC EDUCATION & RESEARCH INSTITUTE is seeking a Research Officer to support its research initiatives within the Allied Health family group in Singapore. The role involves assisting with literature reviews, data collection and analysis, ethics materials, and progress reporting to Principal Investigators.

He/She will prepare grant materials, recruit interview subjects, and maintain data confidentiality while contributing to project meetings and ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Basic or Honors degree in a relevant discipline.
• Research experience in health and social care will be an advantage.
• Experience of working in a research team environment will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support research aimed at preventing functional decline and implementing integrated care.
• Prepare materials for submission to grant agencies.
• Conduct literature reviews, collect and analyze data.
• Prepare materials for ethics review.
• Prepare interview questions and recruit and/or interview subjects.
• Maintain accurate records of data and safeguard confidentiality.
• Contribute to project meetings.
• Prepare progress reports for Principal Investigators and/or funding agency.
• Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations.
• Monitor the project budget.
• Work on other projects and initiatives, as required.
