Job summary

Geosmart WAK Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer (Geotechnical) to coordinate site activities, ensure technical compliance, and support project delivery from planning through execution across multiple geotechnical projects in Singapore.

The role requires a Civil/Geotechnical Engineering background with 1–3 years of related experience. Strong communication and knowledge of local codes are essential. Opportunities for growth and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant geotechnical or construction project experience (fresh graduates may apply).
• Solid understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics and construction processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of local codes, safety regulations, and project documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring geotechnical works to ensure timely and compliant project progress.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth project workflows.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, method statements, and documentation to secure project approvals and maintain records.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise geotechnical activities to enforce safety standards and quality control.
• Support instrumentation monitoring by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data to inform engineering decisions.
• Manage project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and track deliverables to meet project milestones.
• Develop and implement engineering solutions to address site challenges and optimize construction processes.
