Job summary

SJ Group in Singapore is seeking a geotechnical engineer to plan and supervise ground investigations, analyze designs for geotechnical structures, and contribute to infrastructure and building projects. The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in civil and structural engineering and have 3–5 years of geotechnical experience, with familiarity with local codes, Eurocodes, and PLAXIS or similar tools.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers to ensure quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil and structural engineering or equivalent.
3–5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
Familiarity with local codes and Eurocodes is advantageous.
Knowledge of authority submission processes for civil works is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and supervise ground investigations and characterizations.
Conduct analyses and detailed designs for geotechnical structures.
Perform structural-related designs as required.
Coordinate with developers, contractors, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
Manage geotechnical design projects to ensure timely, quality deliverables.
Address geotechnical challenges for infrastructure and building works.
Involve in design aspects of geotechnical works and mentor junior engineers.
