Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Geomatics/Geospatial Manager/Senior Engineer in Strategy & Innovation to lead Singapore's geospatial technology efforts.

You will drive frontier technology exploration, oversee PoC projects in quantum sensing, GeoAI, and advanced mapping, and build partnerships with government, industry and academia to advance national capabilities. Strong writing and communication skills are essential as you will coordinate across diverse stakeholders and prepare proposals for funding.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years public-sector geomatics experience.
• Background in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Remote Sensing, Geospatial, GIS or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills with interest in GeoAI and emerging geomatics tech.

Responsibilities

• Drive Singapore's geospatial technology leadership through frontier tech exploration and partnerships.
• Lead PoC projects for emerging technologies (quantum sensing, GeoAI, advanced mapping).
• Prepare funding proposals and facilitate knowledge exchange across government, industry and research institutions.
