Singtel Group is offering an Forward Deployed Engineer Intern role in Singapore to help explore, prototype, and validate AI-native solutions for enterprise use cases. You will work with AI engineers, solution architects, and platform teams to turn business problems into practical experiments and lightweight workflows.

The role emphasizes learning through delivery, disciplined documentation, and hands-on PoC development under supervision for production and security decisions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science or related field.
• Hands-on project, coursework, hackathon, internship, or personal build involving AI/GenAI, automation, data, or software development.
• Basic AI-first engineering mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in market sensing and research on AI/GenAI and enterprise automation trends.
• Contribute to building PoC AI and GenAI solutions under guidance from engineers and product leads.
• Improve prototypes through testing, debugging, documentation, and lightweight enhancements for readiness review.
• Experiment with AI models, tools, prompts, and workflows to assess feasibility, performance, and value.
• Help design AI-native workflows, agents, scripts, or lightweight apps for internal demos and pilots.
• Collaborate with engineers, solution architects, and platform teams to understand requirements and support handover of prototypes.
