Job summary

TCS Pace Port Singapore seeks a hands-on BioChem Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using LLMs, Agentic AI, and modern software technologies with chemical/biochemical domain knowledge.

This role targets engineers who enjoy end-to-end development, rapid prototyping, and customer-focused demonstrations in life sciences, with an onsite Singapore work mode and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with knowledge of AI.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience building web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and agentic AI concepts.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/React and modern development practices.
• Strong Chemical /BioChemical domain and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a passion for learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Gen AI applications, AI assistants, and intelligent workflows.
• Build and implement RAG pipelines, AI agents, and enterprise search solutions.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and AI integrations using Python.
• Build user-facing applications using React and modern frontend tech.
• Integrate AI models with enterprise systems, databases, and external services.
• Rapidly prototype PoCs and customer demonstrations in life science domain.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and customers to deliver innovative solutions.
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and production-ready and deploy in customer enviornment.
