Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Gen AI team and develop production‑grade applications powered by advanced AI technologies. You will implement AI‑driven web apps with large language models and agentic systems for MAS users across the financial sector.

You will build robust interfaces, scalable data pipelines, and secure services, integrating LangGraph and vLLM for real‑time AI tasks in a fast‑paced, governance‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience as a full stack developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Django) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) and responsive web design.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Knowledge of database integration (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ORM frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Agentic Web Application Development: build robust, scalable apps enabling autonomous AI agents with end‑to‑end workflows.
• Search & Retrieval Development: implement web services and APIs for efficient data search and retrieval in large repositories.
• User Interface & Experience Implementation: create intuitive dashboards and configuration panels for MAS officers.
• Performance Optimisation & Scalability: implement caching, queuing, and load balancing for responsive UX under AI load.
• Security & Compliance Implementation: ensure authentication, authorization, data protection and audit logging in line with MAS controls.
