Job summary

NCS Group is seeking an Infrastructure Lead for Google Cloud Platform to design, deploy, and improve cloud architectures across large enterprise projects. You will drive automation, security, and continuous improvement while engaging senior stakeholders and project teams.

Responsibilities include leading GCP initiatives, coordinating with internal and client teams, and delivering clear KPI-based service improvement.

Qualifications

Mandatory – hold one or more Google Cloud professional-level certifications (e.g., Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Developer).
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with GKE, GCK, Cloud Build and CI/CD tools.
Minimum 5 years experience with Python and Shell scripting.
Strong exposure to AI technologies, agentic workflows and LLM optimization is an advantage.
Senior project leadership experience with large-scale enterprise projects (≥$5m).
Degree in IT or related field; strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and implement cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Coordinate with stakeholders, management, and delivery teams; report progress and issues.
Set priorities and ensure alignment of operations with contractual obligations.
Develop and document new processes to improve service delivery to customers.
Prepare project status reports and minutes for PMC reviews.
Identify opportunities to expand or improve services with the account team.
