Job summary

Searce Inc in Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with deep Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to lead design, implementation, and migration of scalable cloud infrastructure. You will design IaC, deploy Kubernetes-based apps, and drive CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities include automation, monitoring, logging, and collaboration with development and operations for secure, high-performance cloud solutions. Strong scripting and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineer experience.
• Proficiency in GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, VPC and Kubernetes.
• Strong networking knowledge including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.
• Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Bash or similar languages.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform or Deployment Manager for IaC.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD workflows.
• Good security practices and cloud compliance knowledge.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience programming against cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate provisioning and management.
• Design and implement IaC using Terraform.
• Architect and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Use configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate server/infrastructure management.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to track performance.
• Set up and manage centralized logging for applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to address needs and foster shared responsibility.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments and automation.
• Write scripts to automate tasks using Python, Bash, Golang or similar languages.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
