Job summary

ALFA HR SOLUTIONS in Singapore is seeking a GC Application Engineer to lead end‑to‑end testing and validation of Gas Chromatograph systems. Based in Woodlands, you will bridge chemistry and engineering to ensure units meet performance and safety standards before delivery to customers.

The role involves Runout testing, sample preparation, troubleshooting, and leading Factory Acceptance Tests with customers. A chemistry/engineering background and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of hazardous chemicals and pressurized gases.
• Proficiency in Excel automation or VBA is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent Runout testing on GC systems and ensure parameters meet specifications.
• Prepare and blend required gas/liquid samples with accurate concentrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and analytical issues during testing.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and lead remote FAT sessions with customers.
• Support the GC Engineering team as needed.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement programs and maintain a strong focus on workplace safety.
