Exentec Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Service Technician to support gas system operations, monitor SCADA interfaces, and ensure compliance with customer SOPs. You will perform shift handovers, document issues, and maintain logs for daily operations.

Responsibilities include routine gas system inspections, cylinder handling, housekeeping, and timely PM tasks. The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed, with a minimum N-Level/ITE qualification and 1 year

Qualifications

• Minimum N-Level, ITE Certificate, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Preferably with a minimum of 1 year of working experience in TCGM / TGM (Total Chemical / Gas Management).
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.

Responsabilités

• Execute seamless and responsible shift handovers, documenting all ongoing issues and outstanding tasks.
• Maintain continuous surveillance of the SCADA interface and respond promptly to any system alarms.
• Conduct routine daily inspections and checks on all gas systems at the start and conclusion of every shift to verify optimal function.
• Complete all daily operational logs accurately and in complete compliance with customer SOPs.
• Perform safe gas cylinder hook-ups and manage the receipt, segregation, issuance, and return of gas cylinders and SDS bottles.
• Maintain pristine housekeeping and organizational standards across all gas rooms.
• Execute all scheduled PM tasks on time to guarantee zero overdue maintenance activities.
• Support immediately to gas leakages; collaborate transparently with the TGM Site Manager, Customer Facility Engineers, and EHS ERT teams during high-level incidents.
• Follow established safety protocols for turning gas supplies on or off.
• Properly maintain personal PPE and actively correct team members on correct PPE usage to align with safety protocols.
• Monitor third-party vendors working in gas rooms to ensure adherence to safety measures and prevent system disturbances.
• Perform technical component replacements and record accurate gas utility consumption data.
• Ensure swift SOP-compliant escalation of system alarms and execute rapid containment measures, including system bypasses, to mitigate operational risks.
