Stafflink Services Pte Ltd seeks Senior and Junior Gas Technicians to install and position gas detectors across industrial, commercial, and residential sites in Singapore. You will calibrate and test equipment to ensure 100% accuracy and reliability, and maintain systems through routine servicing and troubleshooting.
You will monitor operations, compile performance and calibration data, and respond to active gas leaks or site emergencies.
Looking for Senior & Junior Gas Technician
8am to 5pm (Mon-Fri)
Installation & Setup: Strategically install and position gas detectors and sensors across industrial, commercial, and residential environments to ensure optimal safety coverage.
Calibration & Testing: Execute regular calibration and rigorous functional testing to guarantee 100% accurate readings and equipment reliability.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine preventative maintenance, clean components, replace sensors, and expertly troubleshoot complex system issues or false alarms.
System Monitoring & Compliance: Monitor systems in real-time using specialized software or manual checks. You will also manage critical compliance documentation, including performance reports, repair logs, and calibration data.
Emergency Response & Training: Act as the first line of defense by responding promptly to active gas leaks or site emergencies. You will also educate clients and staff on proper equipment usage and alarm protocols.
A Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Infrastructure, specifically working with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of gas detection sensors and systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, electronic, or mechanical safety equipment, including the ability to read basic electrical and schematic diagrams.
Familiarity with industry safety regulations and compliance documentation.
A Class 3 Driving License is highly preferred for site-to-site travel across Singapore..
The readiness to respond to prompt site emergencies and adhere to on-call schedules when required.
