Job summary

CITY ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a field technician to attend to gas incidents and supply abnormalities, perform site investigations, and coordinate with authorities.

The role involves meter reading checks, meter cut-off management, and handling customer service requests related to gas appliances and installations. The ideal candidate holds Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical or Engineering, with a plumbing certificate preferred, and relevant experience in gas, plumbing, sanitary, or electrical

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (access to own transport preferred).
• Relevant experience in gas, plumbing, sanitary or electrical systems will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Attend to reported gas incidents and gas supply abnormalities such as gas fires, poor gas supply pressure, suspected gas leaks, etc.
• Perform site investigations and rectification work including coordination with authorities and submission of reports.
• Investigate and report on abnormalities related to meter readings.
• Manage meter cut-off and handle overdue account matters.
• Respond to customer service requests such as installing/replacing/troubleshooting gas appliances and servicing gas stoves.
• Handle customers' enquiries/feedback and service recoveries.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
