Job summary

CITY ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a plant operator to support gas production activities at the Senoko Gasworks. The role involves preparing production figures and charts, tracking utilities, and ensuring safe operation of gas making plants and ancillaries.

The candidate should have a Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Shift work (3-shift cycle) is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or petrochemical environments.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare gas production figures and charts for analysis and archive.
• Track utilities consumption at Senoko Gasworks.
• Oversee proper and efficient operation of gas making plants and ancillaries.
• Attend to faults and breakdowns on gas making plants and ancillaries.
• Manage production, quality control, storage and distribution of town gas from the gasworks.
• Coordinate repairs or servicing with maintenance supervisor or contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act and company manuals.
