Qualifications

• 5–7 years of web application development with leadership experience.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer (GenAI Platforms) to lead the development of a large-scale, AI-powered chat platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and resilient applications that integrate modern search technologies and Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities.

This role involves hands-on software development, technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and mentoring engineers to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Provide technical leadership to an agile, cross-functional development team.
• Define and communicate technical direction across multiple development workstreams.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures for AI-powered applications and search platforms.
• Make architectural decisions balancing performance, cost, reliability, and security.
• Identify technical risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with technical leads on long-term technology strategies and system improvements.

Generative AI & Search Technologies

• Design and develop applications integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), including Azure OpenAI and OpenAI APIs.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Develop semantic search capabilities using vector databases and modern search technologies.
• Establish AI evaluation frameworks, monitoring, observability, and security controls.
• Guide AI solutions from proof of concept through production deployment.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their suitability for enterprise applications.
• Implement responsible AI practices, including data governance and security considerations.

Software Engineering & DevOps

• Champion engineering best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, code refactoring, and CI/CD.
• Lead DevOps initiatives, including build automation, release management, and infrastructure improvements.
• Establish automated testing strategies covering unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and engineering standards across the development team.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Development
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and UX Designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers on project planning, system integration, and resource forecasting.
• Participate in technical discussions, governance reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Mentor and coach engineers to strengthen technical capabilities and professional development.
• Support Agile planning, technical estimations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in web application development.
• Proven experience leading Agile software development teams.
• Strong hands‑on development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience designing or developing search solutions involving crawling, indexing, ranking, and relevance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with semantic search, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Proven experience integrating LLMs into production applications.
• Ability to manage AI-related trade‑offs involving latency, cost, accuracy, hallucination risks, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
• Knowledge of AI governance, application security, and responsible AI practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
