Job summary

Selby Jennings in Singapore is seeking an experienced Listed Derivatives Execution Trader to join our client’s Singapore-based team. The role executes listed FX futures and options for institutional clients across global exchanges and works with sales, clearing, and trading desks to ensure best execution.

You will engage with hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and other market participants in a fast-paced regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in listed derivatives execution, futures brokerage, or institutional trading.
• Strong knowledge of FX futures and options products and exchange-listed derivatives.
• Familiarity with exchange market structures, order types, and execution strategies.
• Existing relationships with institutional market participants are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of futures clearing and post-trade processes.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-motivated, commercial, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute client orders across listed FX futures and options on global exchanges.
• Deliver efficient execution while maintaining best execution and minimizing market impact.
• Monitor market movements, liquidity, and order flow to provide market intelligence.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and support their trading needs.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for increased activity.
• Coordinate with clearing, operations, and compliance to ensure trade lifecycle.
• Assist onboarding of new clients and provide product education and market updates.
• Maintain knowledge of exchange rules, market structure developments, and regulatory requirements.
