Job summary

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. We seek resourceful, energetic and self-motivated engineers and architects to contribute to Singapore’s built environment by administering building regulations and developing new strategies.

Successful candidates will perform site inspections, review TOP/CSC applications, and help shape policies and processes in Building Control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in design, construction, or building control.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's building control regulations, codes, and standards.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Performing site inspections and audits to check site adherence to approved building plans and regulations.
• Reviewing and granting of temporary occupation permits (TOP) and certificates of statutory completion (CSC) applications.
• Reviewing and developing strategies, policies and processes in relation to Building Control.
