Job summary

THE EDGE PARTNERSHIP HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to oversee fund accounting tasks, NAV reporting and annual financial statements in line with USGAAP/IFRS/SFRS standards.

The role requires at least 7 years in fund accounting, with open-ended or closed-ended funds, and strong stakeholder management to engage with senior leaders and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent; CA qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant Fund Accountant experience.
• Experience with open-ended or closed-ended funds.
• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised in a team and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handle fund accounting tasks: transaction processing, fee calculations, reconciliations, NAV and annual financial statements.
• Oversee transfer agency ops: subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls and distributions.
• Liaise with fund/SPV clients and external stakeholders to maintain relationships.
• Manage investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions and regulatory reporting.
• Carry out additional admin duties as required.

Fund Accounting Manager

Our client is a successful mid-sized global corporate, fund and financial services provider that supports alternative investment managers, funds and businesses with administration, accounting, compliance and related services. They are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

• Handle fund accounting tasks such as transaction processing, fee calculations, reconciliation, NAV reporting, and preparation of annual financial statements following relevant standards (USGAAP/IFRS/SFRS). Also, manage audits and address related queries.
• Experience in Transfer Agency operations, including subscriptions, redemptions, and capital call & distribution calculations.
• Laise with fund and SPV clients and foster strong relationships. This also includes working closely with external stakeholders as needed.
• Be involved with investor onboarding, manage capital calls, distributions, and handle GST and tax filings with external advisors, as well as regulatory reporting.
• Perform additional tasks such as administrative tasks aligned with business requirements.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent. Candidates who are CA qualified or equivalent will be a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a Fund Accountant, with exposure to open-ended or closed-ended funds.
• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influential skills to communicate with senior stakeholders to get the work done.
