Job summary

CREDENCE ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a junior accounting professional to maintain books for fund management entities and family offices. You will handle routine accounting tasks, transactions, and reporting with guidance from senior team.

Ideal candidates have an accounting diploma or degree, up to two years' experience, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are welcome.
• An interest in fund accounting, investment management or family office operations.
• Basic understanding of financial instruments and investment transactions is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication, organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts for fund management companies, investment holding companies and family offices.
• Record investment transactions, including purchases, disposals, dividends, interest income and related expenses.
• Perform bank, custodian, brokerage and investment portfolio reconciliations.
• Assist with NAV calculations, portfolio reporting and management accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist with consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support GST, corporate tax, audit and statutory reporting matters.
• Assist with MAS regulatory reporting and compliance-related submissions.
• Liaise with clients, fund administrators, banks, auditors, tax agents and other service providers.
• Maintain proper accounting schedules and supporting documents.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
