Job summary

The Edge Partnership Holdings Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Fund Accountant to join its global services team, supporting fund administration, accounting and related services for open-ended and closed-ended vehicles.

Key duties include NAV reporting, fee calculations, reconciliations, annual financial statements, audits, transfer agency operations, investor onboarding, capital calls and regulatory reporting, with strong stakeholder engagement and deadline discipline.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (or equivalent).
• CA qualification or equivalent is a plus.
• Around 5+ years of Fund Accountant experience.
• Experience with open-ended or closed-ended funds.
• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised in a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handle fund accounting tasks: transaction processing, fee calculations, reconciliation, NAV reporting, and annual financial statements; manage audits and related queries.
• Experience in Transfer Agency operations: subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls & distributions calculations.
• Liaise with fund and SPV clients; build relationships with external stakeholders as needed.
• Onboard investors, manage capital calls and distributions; GST/tax filings with external advisors; regulatory reporting.
• Perform administrative tasks aligned with business requirements.

Senior Fund Accountant

Our client is a successful mid-sized global corporate, fund and financial services provider that supports alternative investment managers, funds and businesses with administration, accounting, compliance and related services. They are seeking an experienced Junior Fund Accountant who is keen to gain broader exposure across both closed-ended and open-ended funds.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle fund accounting tasks such as transaction processing, fee calculations, reconciliation, NAV reporting, and preparation of annual financial statements following relevant standards (USGAAP/IFRS/SFRS). Also, manage audits and address related queries.
• Experience in Transfer Agency operations, including subscriptions, redemptions, and capital call & distribution calculations.
• Laise with fund and SPV clients and foster strong relationships. This also includes working closely with external stakeholders as needed.
• Be involved with investor onboarding, manage capital calls, distributions, and handle GST and tax filings with external advisors, as well as regulatory reporting.
• Perform additional tasks such as administrative tasks aligned with business requirements.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent. Candidates who are CA qualified or equivalent will be a plus.
• Around 5+ years of relevant experience as a Fund Accountant, with exposure to open-ended or closed-ended funds.
• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influential skills to communicate with senior stakeholders to get the work done.
