Makers Fund is a global interactive entertainment industry venture capital firm founded in 2017 with US$1.2 Billion in assets under management. The firm focuses on early‑stage investments and operates across the USA, UK, Singapore, and Hong Kong. We are looking for a Fund Accountant to be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate NAV reports, management accounts, and other fund accounting reports.
• Record the accounting journal entries for both the Fund and Investment Management Companies in different jurisdictions.
• Review capital distribution notices, NAV reports prepared by the fund administrator, and reconcile with internal records.
• Identify exceptions and quality‑check accounting records.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, annual financial statements, regulatory reports, tax returns, and other required deliverables.
• Process payments and review reimbursements.
• Handle ad‑hoc assignments including opening bank accounts and preparing management reports.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar financial focus preferred.
• 2‑3 years of experience in fund or corporate accounting; prior fund accounting experience is highly advantageous.
• Ideally hold an ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Singapore MAS quarterly & annual returns and IRAS tax filing (e.g., Form C, ECI, and GST) preferred.
• Willingness to learn and to take on new challenges in a fast‑moving environment.
• Responsive, detail‑oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
