• Banking project delivery experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for banking applications.
• Digital Channels: prepare User Story Templates, document user stories and acceptance criteria, and develop user journey mockups.
• Cash/Core Banking: review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), understand banking workflows, and analyse core banking systems and interfaces.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and system requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and requirement traceability.
• Support solution discussions, functional walkthroughs, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Ensure requirements align with banking processes, system functionality, and project objectives.
• Maintain functional documentation and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Support end-to-end delivery of banking technology projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional analysis skills, banking domain knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.

3. Cash/Core Banking: Review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), understand banking workflows, and analyse core banking systems and interfaces.
4. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and system requirements.
5. Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst in the banking or financial services domain.
• Strong experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Digital Channels: Digital banking applications, user stories, UST, user journey mapping, wireframes/mockups, and customer-facing banking journeys.
  • Cash/Core Banking: Cash management, core banking systems, FSD review, banking workflows, transaction processing, and system integrations.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into functional documentation.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT and collaborating with technical and business teams.
• Banking project delivery experience is essential.
