PERSOL Singapore is seeking a senior Business Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for AML and Sanctions compliance initiatives. The role focuses on defining functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with migration plans and regulatory standards.

You will maintain BRDs, support deployment planning, and manage risks while working with system analysts and architects to ensure clear understanding of the BRD across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in business analysis.
• Experience in AML domain and financial crime controls.
• At least 6 years in functional roles within AML or sanctions technology.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
• Ability to document detailed BRDs and release notes.
• Experience translating business needs into technical requirements.

• Work with business stakeholders to gather business requirements

• Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on business and migration requirements
• Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope creep
• Write business functional release notes and contribute to deployment plan
• Document the detailed requirements in line with bank standards
• Understand existing technology landscape at bank with a view to delivering seamless integration
• Work with various operational teams to establish new procedures as needful
• Work with the system analyst and architects to ensure full understanding of BRD is conveyed
• Perform requirement traceability matrix
• Review and confirmed list of capabilities against BRD
• Provide scopes/assumptions for IT management approval deck preparation

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Experience in AML Domain
• Minimum 6 years of functional experience within Financial Crime, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or Sanctions compliance technology.
• Good understanding and experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
