Saksoft in Singapore is seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst to lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for data-centric initiatives. The role requires deep proficiency with MS Excel, macros, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SQL, and JIRA, plus strong data analysis and stakeholder engagement skills.

You will collaborate across business units, ensure traceability, and support testing and change management to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business analysis.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Data profiling and validation experience.
• Data mapping and transformation expertise.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
• Experience in change management and project management fundamentals.
• Strong team player with leadership skills, able to drive collaboration and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Confident presenter, able to explain complex topics clearly and effectively.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists to elicit, review, and validate business requirements
• Perform impact assessments and analyze the "to-be" business and operational processes based on agreed requirements
• Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives
• Monitor and manage risks / issues related to requirements and scope creep
• Perform impact assessments and estimations for project change requests
• Transition requirements to System Analysts, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Maintain traceability of functional specification to business requirements
• Review test plan and functional test scope prepared by testing team
• Support SIT and UAT, including defect prioritisation, tracking and resolution

Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management
