Job summary

KG Information Systems Private Limited (KGiSL) in Singapore seeks a senior Java professional to own design and development of GFM post-trade settlement systems, microservices, and cloud-based workbenches. You will drive discussions with business users and ensure timely delivery while coordinating with regional tech teams.

The role requires strong Java 8, Spring, Microservices, Docker, and AWS/Kubernetes/OpenShift experience, plus knowledge of JMS, NoSQL, SQL, and ELK stacks.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8, Microservices & Docker.
• Good knowledge in JMS (Active MQ, Kafka, Rabbit MQ), Apache Camel.
• Strong NoSQL Database knowledge like MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Strong knowledge in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB).
• Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud.
• AngularJS or ReactJS, JavaScript, jQuery ORM like Hibernate or JPA.
• Familiar with Linux operating system.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies, such as Scrum.
• Knowledge of best practices: TDD and CI/CD.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining microservices on AWS, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience using Docker to create reproducible build and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Elastic Search (ELK) for logging/indexing.
• Ability to read explain plans, tune SQL, profile apps, analyze heap/thread dumps.
• Able to automate repetitive tasks.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Required Experience

Must-have

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8, Microservice & Docker

• You know how to read explain plans and tune SQL Queries, profile applications, analyze heap and thread dumps


• Able to automate repetitive tasks
