Job Summary

Join TutorJohn Learning Centre as a Full-Time Tutor delivering engaging lessons to Primary and Secondary students, supporting their academic growth and confidence in a structured, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging lessons for Primary and Secondary students to improve understanding and confidence
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments aligned with curriculum goals
• Monitor student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes
• Assist in daily centre operations including scheduling to ensure smooth lesson delivery
• Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent teaching standards and share resources
• Build positive rapport with students to foster a supportive and motivating learning environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holders; education-related qualifications are a bonus
• Experience in teaching or tutoring.
• Strong communication skills applied to classroom management and student engagement
• Responsible, committed, and patient approach to supporting student learning
• Experience working with children or in educational settings is advantageous
• Ability to commit to the role until the end of the academic year

Other Information

• Position: Full-Time Tutor (Primary / Secondary)
• Salary: $2,800 – $4,200/month (Based on Experience + Performance Bonuses)

Centres Located in Choa Chu Kang & Tampines

• Work Days: 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend

Working Hours:

• Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
