World School Fund Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time Student Care Teacher for our Clementi centre. You will supervise, guide and support primary school students in their academic and personal development within a nurturing environment.

The role offers on-the-ground teaching experience with training provided and opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities and centre operations, starting immediately or on short notice.

Formación

As a Student Care Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting children's academic progress, personal development and daily well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise primary school students aged 7–12 and ensure their safety and well-being.


• Guide students in completing their daily homework and developing good study habits.


• Plan and conduct engaging educational, recreational and enrichment activities.


• Maintain positive classroom discipline and encourage good behaviour.


• Support students' academic, social and emotional development.


• Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate daily records.


• Build positive relationships with students, parents and school staff.


• Encourage teamwork, independence and good character development.


• Assist with daily centre operations and school holiday programmes.


• Work closely with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum NITEC, GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.


• Good command of spoken and written English.


• Previous experience in student care, teaching or working with primary school children is an advantage.


• No prior experience required – training will be provided.


• Patient, caring, responsible and passionate about working with children.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Able to manage a group of primary school students effectively.


• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.


• Able to work independently and as part of a team.


• Able to start immediately or within short notice.


• Minimum commitment of 1 year.
