QUINTESSENTIAL EDUCATION CENTRE LLP is hiring a Full-Time IGCSE Physics Tutor in Singapore. The role involves teaching Physics to Grades 7–10, conducting structured lessons, and running mock assessments with feedback.

You will develop resources and participate in curriculum planning in a 5-day work week, with in-person duties at Orchard Road location. The ideal candidate has deep Physics knowledge, strong communication skills, and is based in Singapore, eligible to work here.

About the Role

We are hiring a Physics Tutor with deep subject knowledge and a passion for simplifying complex concepts. If you enjoy helping students understand Physics through both conceptual clarity and practice, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

Teach IGCSE Physics for Grade 7–10 for 1-1 or group settings
Conduct structured lessons on theory, problem-solving, and data response
Break down challenging topics (e.g. kinematics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics)
Run mock assessments and timed practices with feedback
Develop and maintain resource banks and lesson slides
Participate in curriculum planning and academic workshops

Requirements

Strong academic background in Physics, with knowledge of the IGCSE Physics curriculum.
Effective communicator, especially in explaining abstract concepts
Familiar with the IGCSE Physics syllabus
Committed to helping students improve through clear instruction and feedback
Able to create well-structured notes and exercises
Applicants must be currently based in Singapore and legally eligible to work in Singapore.
