Job summary

Dental Forté in Singapore is seeking a friendly and cheerful Full-time Dental Assistant to join our clinic. You will support dentists chairside, handle infection control, sterilise instruments, manage stock, and help with daily clinic operations.

On-the-job training and mentorship are provided to ensure a smooth transition. Qualifications include a Singapore-Cambridge N Level and proficiency in English; 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Friendly & cheerful individual
• Self-motivated and has a willingness to learn
• Candidate must possess at least the Singapore-Cambridge N Level
• Candidate must be able to speak and write in English
• Preferably at least 1 year of working experience in dental assisting
• Preferably experienced in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Assisting dentist(s) by chairside
• Maintaining infection control in and out of treatment room
• Cleaning and sterilising dental instruments
• Opening and closing of the clinic
• End of month stock check
• Ensuring sufficient stock for day-to-day operation
• Doing weekly and monthly equipment maintenance
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of clinic
• Taking out trash
• Ad-hoc: helping with treatment plans, dental insurance forms and letters
• Annual spring cleaning

FULL‑TIME DENTAL ASSISTANT

Main Job Scope

• Assisting dentist/s by chairside
• Maintaining infection control in and out of treatment room
• Cleaning and sterilising of all dental instruments
• Opening and closing of the clinic

• Ensuring sufficient stock for day‑to‑day operation

Ad‑Hoc

• Helping dentist/s with preparing treatment plans, dental insurance forms and letters
• Annual spring cleaning

Minimum requirements

• Friendly & cheerful individual
• Self‑motivated and has a willingness to learn
• Candidate must possess at least the Singapore‑Cambridge "N" Level
• Candidate must be able to speak and write in English
• Preferably for candidate to have at least 1 Year of working experience in dental assisting
• Preferably for candidate to be experienced in Microsoft Office

Clinic Hours

• Tuesday to Saturday: 8:45am to 6:30pm
• Sunday (Staff rotation): 8:45am to 1:30pm (x 1.5 OT - Report to work only in the event of emergency appointment/s)
• Monday & Public Holidays: Closed
• Eve of Chinese New Year, Christmas & New Year: 8:45am - 1:30pm (Half-day)

Note that range of salary is dependent on candidates' years of experience and scope of responsibility.
