Job summary

Activate is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a fixed-term contract in Singapore. The role covers IT operations, test automation, API integration, and post-launch service health monitoring within Singapore Government Agencies.

You will work with Next.js, Node.js, and containerised microservices, ensuring IM8 compliance and high-quality digital products. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

Co‑Development Business Unit is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is Sep 2026 – Feb 2028.

You will work in Singapore Government Agencies.

What will you do?

IT operations management, incident and change management, stakeholder management, familiarity with DSS, IM8 compliance, StackOps for post-launch service health monitoring, experience managing post-launch government digital services.

• Test planning and management, mobile and web test automation (Appium, Espresso, Selenium), SHIP‑HATS 2.0, Jira/Confluence, API testing (Postman), regression and performance testing, mobile and web testing, familiarity with GCC AWS environments, StackOps for application performance monitoring, IM8 compliance.
• Next.js, Optical CMS (headless CMS integration), RESTful API integration (Singpass, SearchSG, MUIS Halal System, Quran.com), GCC AWS, SHIP‑HATS 2.0, SGDS (Singapore Government Design System), web accessibility standards, IM8 compliance.

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering effective products with limited resources.
• End-to-end experience working with a product team to build products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, minute‑taking, and technical writing.
• Highly meticulous and tenacious, with the ability to follow through on tasks to closure.
• Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, and to prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analysis Professional are a plus.
• A degree or diploma in computer science, product management, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience in application design and development using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL is a plus.
• Experience with platforms such as Confluence, JIRA, and Balsamiq is a plus.
