Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Diploma with relevant industry experience encouraged to apply.
• Strong hands-on experience in full-stack application development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience in Node.js backend and React web apps.
• Experience in React Native for mobile/cross‑platform apps.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deployment environments.
• Ability to build responsive, mobile-friendly web applications.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications.
• Build responsive front-ends using React and React Native.
• Develop and maintain backend services with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Implement scalable, secure software following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise performance across platforms.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and release activities.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud-based apps on AWS.
• Support monitoring, performance tuning, security, and reliability.
• Assist in development workflows, version control, and pipelines.
• Contribute to documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, UI/UX designers, and developers.
• Participate in ideation, prototyping, and iterative development.
• Develop digital cognitive tools and healthcare apps.
• Integrate analytics and data-driven features into applications.
• Engage with stakeholders on research and innovation projects.
