Job summary

NEXTERA SOFTWARE SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Java-focused developer to join Agile teams in Singapore. You will develop and maintain scalable Java applications, implement Spring-based services, and design REST APIs. You will also build frontend components with React and contribute to modular Micro Frontend work.

The role requires experience with Java, Spring, REST, React, and database systems, with a willingness to be based in Singapore and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing Java backend and microservices.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable systems.
• Frontend work with React.js and modern JS/HTML/CSS toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Java 8/11/17+.
• Implement Spring frameworks to build secure, efficient services.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices for scalable architecture.
• Build frontend components with React.js and related tech.
• Develop Micro Frontend applications with React for modularity.
• Manage app state with Redux/Context API.
• Use databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL) for storage optimization.
• Use Git for source control and collaborate with team.
• Use Maven/Gradle to automate builds and dependencies.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies in delivery.
