Job summary

Singapore Airlines is seeking a versatile software engineer to join the Application Services team in the IT division. You will design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React, while building reusable front-end components and integrating with internal and external systems.

You will design databases, CI/CD pipelines, and RESTful microservices, contribute to product backlog refinement, and create comprehensive technical designs and test scripts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Strong Java server-side development experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with React.js.
• End-to-end integration of microservices/web services with front-end systems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with XML/JSON/HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Exposure to GenAI-based development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Build responsive front-end components with React and TypeScript.
• Integrate applications with internal/external systems via APIs and messaging.
• Design and implement database solutions (SQL/NoSQL).
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Develop features for new and existing applications.
• Create scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Provide input to product owners and refine user stories.
• Produce technical design documentation and test scripts.
• Ensure code quality for security and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and provide production support when required.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies.
