Job summary

PreSAGE is seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular or React.

You will work across backend and frontend, build RESTful APIs, optimize SQL Server databases, and deploy on Linux/Windows with Tomcat and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Flutter experience is a plus, aiding future mobile initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Angular or React.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational DBs.
• Proficiency with Git and modern workflows.
• Understanding of design principles, data structures and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advantage: Flutter for mobile development.
• Advantage: CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (preferred) or React.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs to support web apps and integrations.
• Develop and optimize MS SQL Server databases with queries and stored procedures.
• Participate in full SDLC from concept to deployment and support.
• Configure and deploy on Linux or Windows using Apache/Nginx/Tomcat and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Write clean, well-documented code, conduct code reviews, and apply secure coding and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
