Job summary

DCI CONSULTANTS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a front-end software engineer with strong GIS focus to design, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript. You will work on interactive visualizations and UI components that support data-driven decisions, collaborating across the stack to optimize APIs and data models.

You will apply your ArcGIS Enterprise experience to GIS workflows, participate in reviews, and help implement secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of front-end development, building user-centric web apps.
• 3+ years designing/administrating GIS solutions using ArcGIS.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript with React and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive UIs using React/TypeScript.
• Create interactive visualizations and intuitive UI components.
• Collaborate across the stack to define APIs and data models.
• Write clean, modular code and participate in peer reviews.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
• Partner with UX designers in a cross-functional team.
• Work on ArcGIS Enterprise setup and HA deployments (optional).
• Implement GIS workflows on the ArcGIS platform.
• Collaborate through all implementation phases: requirements to deployment.
• Implement data security controls and compliance across environments.
• Automate routine database loading, maintenance, and monitoring tasks.
• Provide guidance on database design, migration, and integration.
• Optional: configure ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise for maritime charting workflows
