Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript, Next.js and AWS. The role is a contract position based in Central Singapore with standard working hours Mon-Fri.

You will build frontend components, implement RESTful APIs, deploy on AWS, and collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure software. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Next.js.
• Experience with React.js and modern frontend development.
• Familiarity with Node.js and backend/API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS or DynamoDB.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of software engineering practices, testing and application security.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or AWS CDK will be an advantage.
