Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a versatile software engineer to join our growing team in Singapore. You will develop responsive web interfaces with React and TypeScript, and implement mobile features using React Native, while building robust backend services with Node.js.

You will integrate client apps with APIs and enterprise systems, design data access layers for PostgreSQL/MySQL, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience building responsive web interfaces with React and TypeScript.
• Backend services and REST APIs development with Node.js.
• Integration with APIs, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
• Proficient in data access with relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerization with Docker and deployments on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript, and mobile features using React Native.
• Build backend services and REST APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS or equivalent).
• Integrate web/mobile clients with APIs, third-party services and enterprise systems.
• Design data access logic and work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and object storage where required.
• Write unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews and maintain engineering quality standards.
• Use Git-based workflows and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Containerize applications with Docker and support deployments to AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS and CloudWatch as applicable.
• Apply secure coding practices including input validation, authentication/authorization, secrets management and OWASP guidance.
