Job summary

JOBSTER PRIVATE LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and manage observability, CI/CD migrations, and backend integrations.

You will implement CloudWatch canaries, migrate CI/CD runners to GovTech-managed environment, and build IaC templates for SHIP-HATS deployments across environments.

The role focuses on reliability, automation, and secure integrations, requiring strong scripting and cloud skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps/cloud/ platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting across app and infra layers.
• Experience with CI/CD, source code management, and deployment automation.
• Experience with cloud-hosted applications and modern architectures.
• Good understanding of application observability, performance monitoring, and operational support.
• Experience working in Singapore Government ICT/GCC environments would be advantageous.
• Experience with SHIP-HATS, StackOps or SG Gov Tech stacks would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain AWS CloudWatch Synthetics Canaries and related monitoring capabilities.
• Write and refine canary test scripts; validate in UAT, promote to PRD, and adjust for environment differences.
• Implement health checks, availability and performance monitoring, dashboards, metrics, logs and alerts.
• Enable CloudWatch dashboard visibility in PRD for stakeholder access to canary results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve canary failures or false positives during rollout.
• Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot performance and availability issues identified through monitoring.
• Support continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting and operational dashboards.
