Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking an experienced software engineer to build and enhance a web platform with backend APIs, a desktop app for scanners, and cloud-based workflows. You will integrate AI services, CV, OCR/ICR, and manage high-throughput pipelines while maintaining strong testing and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the web platform, including backend APIs, background job processing, database models, and the browser-based template editor used to configure OMR zones.
• Develop and maintain the desktop application that interfaces with document scanners and the cloud backend.
• Integrate scanner hardware using drivers, SDKs, and vendor APIs for reliable document capture and upload workflows.
• Integrate AI services, including LLMs for template generation and OCR/ICR for processing handwriting and printed responses.
• Design and optimize high-throughput processing pipelines with job queues, concurrency management, and cloud storage.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Operations to translate workflows into reliable software solutions.
• Maintain high engineering standards with TDD, typed code, clean architecture, CI/CD, and documentation.
