Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a senior data integration engineer to work on a 12-month fixed-term, on-site contract in Singapore. You will collaborate with architects to define interfaces, coordinate with the System Integrator and vendors, and own the end-to-end integration testing across multiple subsystems and data sources.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in systems integration or full-stack engineering for large-scale data platforms, with experience in defining integration

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in systems integration or full stack engineering for large-scale data platforms.
• Experience defining interface specifications, integration frameworks, and test plans for data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data quality dimensions: completeness, accuracy, format, and schema conformance.
• Experience coordinating cross-team integration testing with multiple vendors.
• Familiarity with Databricks and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain interface specifications and integration frameworks for inbound and outbound data sources.
• Serve as the main technical contact with the System Integrator and other vendors on integration matters.
• Manage integrations between subsystems across the data platform and connected systems.
• Track integration progress and flag risks and delays to the project manager.
• Coordinate with the SI on integration working groups and ensure readiness before milestones.
• Own the overall integration test plan, defining test scope and sign-off processes.
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing with the SI and vendors prior to milestones going live.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, format, and schema conformance across data flows.
• Escalate and resolve integration and quality issues across vendors.

What will you do?

• Work with the architects to define and maintain interface specifications and integration frameworks for inbound and outbound data sources.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact with the System Integrator (SI) and other vendors on all integration matters.
• Manage and oversee integrations between subsystems across the data platform, BFG, and other connected systems.
• Track integration progress across all subsystems and vendors, flagging risks and delays to the project manager.
• Coordinate with the SI on integration working groups and ensure technical readiness ahead of each integration milestone.
• Own the overall integration test plan, defining test scope, acceptance criteria, and sign-off processes across all data sources and subsystems.
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing with the SI and other vendors prior to each integration milestone going live.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, format compliance, and schema conformance across integrated data flows.
• Escalate and resolve integration and quality issues across vendors in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years of experience in systems integration or full stack engineering for large-scale data or technology platforms.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end integration between multiple vendors and subsystems in complex, multi-party programme environments.
• Experience defining interface specifications, integration frameworks, and test plans for data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data quality dimensions: completeness, accuracy, format compliance, and schema conformance, including designing and executing integration test plans.
• Experience coordinating cross-team integration testing involving multiple vendors and parties.
• Familiarity with data platform tooling (e.g. Databricks or equivalent) and cloud infrastructure on AWS or comparable platforms is preferred.
• Experience delivering projects in government or highly regulated environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience delivering comparable data platform projects internationally, at city-level or above, beyond the Singapore market is preferred.
