Job summary

KING SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable full-stack engineer to build high-quality ReactJS/NestJS applications.

You will own end-to-end feature development from design to production, and implement CI/CD pipelines for large-scale systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will architect reusable solutions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full-stack development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+)
• Proficient frontend with ReactJS, Tailwind CSS, responsive design
• Strong backend with NestJS, NodeJS, Prisma
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis caching
• Hands-on with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, AWS EKS
• Experience building cloud apps using AWSSDK and AWS services (CloudFront, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB)
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for production apps
• Knowledge of security (VAPT, OWASP) and performance testing
• Strong software architecture, scalability, resiliency, security, reusable design
• Experience in Agile environments
• Ability to own complex features from design to deployment
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally
• AWS Associate level certification an advantage
• On-call standby may be required outside normal hours

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality, full-stack applications (ReactJS, NestJS,TypeScript) and contribute to end-to-end feature development.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for large-scale systems and ensureseamless deployment.
• Maintain software applications, focusing on availability,performance testing, and code security (VAPT/OWASP).
• Ability to architect solutions that are rational andencourage reusability of code.
• Communicate technical trade-offs to ensure scalability,resiliency, and security.
• Take full ownership of feature development independently,from system design to production deployment.
• Influence engineering best practices and drive technicalstrategy within the team.
• Actively mentor junior engineers, participate in codereviews, and involvement in technical discussions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders(Business Analysts, Quality Engineers, DevOps, UX Designers) to translatebusiness needs into technical solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and openness to new ideas.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in full-stack software development, with advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+).
• Strong frontend development experience using ReactJS, responsive web design, Tailwind CSS, and CSS.
• Strong backend development experience using NestJS, NodeJS, and Prisma.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases and Redis caching.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS.
• Experience building cloud-based applications using the AWSSDK and working with AWS services such as CloudFront, S3, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, Elasti Cache, Serverless/Lambda, and Lambda@Edge.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production applications.
• Good understanding of application security principles, including VAPT and OWASP, as well as application performance testing.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, resiliency, security, and reusable design principles.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Ability to independently manage complex features from technical design through production deployment.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.
• AWS certification at Associate level or above is an advantage.
• May be required to provide standby/on-call support outside standard working hours, including weekends or public holidays, when required for critical system support.
