Job summary

Vinova is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and deploy applications for government digital services. You will work on both frontend (React.js) and backend (Go/Node.js) components, participate in code reviews, and help secure and optimize performance across systems.

You'll collaborate with UX designers to translate user needs into robust product designs, while embracing Agile practices and modern web app development. Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployments is valued.

Qualifications

• Frontend development experience with React.js.
• Backend development with Go and/or Node.js is advantageous.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment (AWS/PaaS/private servers).
• Agile software lifecycle experience; Scrum is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years with modern web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems that support government digital services and citizen-facing platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing applications and infrastructure.
• Participate in code review processes to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
• Partner with UX designers to develop comprehensive product designs that meet user needs and government service requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in frontend development with React.js
• Experience in backend development using Go and/or Node.js is highly advantageous
• Karma, Mocha, Chai and Sinon is highly advantageous.
• Experience with database management/usage (both relational and non-relational), and handling of data in different environments is highly advantageous.
• Experience in using Docker containers, development of CI/CD pipelines, and deployment using cloud services such as AWS/PasSes/your own private servers is a nice bonus.
• Experience in the software development lifecycle in an Agile context is a plus point.
• Experience in Scrum is a plus point.
