Job summary

Helius Technologies is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build and support scalable enterprise applications with cloud-native architecture and AI-powered capabilities. You will work across frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs and databases, collaborating with product owners, architects and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable apps.

The role involves integrating LLMs and AI workflows, deploying on AWS/Azure/GCP, and building CI/CD pipelines while following DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of full stack development experience.
• Experience delivering applications in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on frontend development with React/Angular/Vue/Next.js.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or TypeScript with responsive design.
• Backend development experience with Java/Spring Boot, Node.js/NestJS or Python frameworks like FastAPI/Flask/Django.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL.
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture and messaging.
• Hands-on cloud-native development and deployment experience.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, serverless tech and infrastructure as code.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain web, mobile and cloud-native applications.
• Build responsive interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop backend services, RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation specifications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance, security and maintainability.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems and external services.

AI Application Development

• Integrate LLMs, Generative AI, RAG and AI agents into business applications.
• Develop chatbots, virtual assistants and workflow automation solutions.
• Integrate services such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI or equivalent platforms.
• Apply prompt engineering, model evaluation and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to deploy and support AI solutions.

Cloud and DevOps

• Deploy and support applications on AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud or GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code configurations.
• Develop containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply DevSecOps practices and automated quality checks.
• Monitor application performance and optimise cloud resource usage.

Collaboration and Delivery

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews and technical discussions.
• Work with product owners, designers, architects and business stakeholders.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior developers where required.

Requirements
