Job summary

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development to join IOTALENTS PTE. LTD.

The role focuses on building and enhancing Wealth Management applications for internal users and clients. You will work across the stack with Java Spring Boot on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend, delivering robust APIs, microservices, and modern frontend architectures.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Relevant professional experience in software/full-stack development
• Experience developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot and React
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
• Implement and maintain Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture
• Apply software engineering best practices across the technology stack
• Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to deliver quality solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across frontend and backend systems
• Participate in system design and contribute to the technical roadmap
• Drive technical improvements, innovation, and application performance
• Conduct code reviews and maintain good coding, testing, security, and development practices

Required Technical Skills

Backend

• StrongJavaskills, preferably Java 21.
• Strong expertise inSpring Boot, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
• Experience withModulith and microservicesarchitecture.
• Experience with relational databases such asMariaDB or PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization.
• Strong knowledge ofRESTful API design.
• Experience with messaging technologies such asKafka or IBM MQ.
• Experience withJUnit, Mockito, and Karatefor unit and integration testing.
• Good understanding ofSOLID principles and design patterns.

Frontend

• Hands-on experience withReact and TypeScript, preferably React 19.
• Good understanding ofReact Hooks, Context, and component lifecycle.
• Experience withRedux, Redux Toolkit (RTK), and RTK Query.
• Experience withMicro Frontend (MFE)architecture, such as Module Federation or Single-SPA.
• Good knowledge ofHTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and responsive design.
• Experience with modernJavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+).
• Experience withWebpack or Vite.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such asJest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization, includingcode splitting and lazy loading.
• Experience with design systems or component libraries such asStorybookis an advantage.

Candidate Profile

• Recent experience as aFull-Stack Developer / Software Engineer.
• Strong backend development experience withJava and Spring Boot.
• Practical frontend development experience withReact and TypeScript.
• Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with enterprise applications and multiple technology/business stakeholders.
• Good understanding of software design, testing, APIs, microservices, and application architecture.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve engineering practices.

Education & Experience
