Job summary
KEPLER SEARCH PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Commodities Desk Quant to support and optimise its growing global physical trading portfolio.
You will work directly with traders, originators and commercial teams to develop production-grade models and tools that influence trading and portfolio decisions. Qualifications
- Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, quantitative finance or data science.
- Experience supporting a live front-office trading desk in physical commodities.
- Proven ability to develop production-grade quantitative tools and models.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance quantitative models, pricing frameworks and optimisation tools.
- Build and own proprietary quantitative libraries and analytics platforms for front-office use.
- Support traders in evaluating opportunities and portfolio decisions in real time.
- Design and implement optimisation models for cargo allocation, storage and logistics.
- Collaborate with traders and commercial teams to identify value opportunities.
- Translate trading requirements into scalable quantitative solutions.
- Perform scenario analysis, valuation and exposure studies for decisions.
- Improve modelling infrastructure and automation across the trading platform.
- Contribute to the evolution of quantitative and trading capabilities.
