Job summary

Syrius Technology Pte Ltd seeks a Robotics Support Engineer to train customers and provide technical support for AMR products in Singapore and Southeast Asia. You will troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues and assist deployment of tailored automation solutions for warehousing operations.

Ideal candidates hold a robotics or mechatronics diploma and have hands-on experience with robotics systems, ROS/ROS2, and sensor integration, plus strong communication and collaboration skills for

Qualifications

• Diploma in robotics & mechatronics or related field.
• At least 1 year of robotics systems or warehouse automation experience.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 middleware.
• Understanding of navigation, fleet management, sensor integration.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to read Chinese technical docs.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

You will deliver customer training and technical support for robotics products, troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues, and develop tailored automation solutions to enhance warehouse and logistics operations using AMR technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site and off-site customer training, including product demonstrations, installation, implementation, and after-sales support for LIDAR, chassis, and robot operations
• Assist customers in deploying and operating AMRs by understanding and resolving technical issues related to the company's robot technology
• Configure Robotics Microcontroller Unit (MCU) firmware and perform hardware debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal robot performance
• Identify and resolve front-end software issues affecting functionality, performance, and user experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed
• Monitor product usage data to improve customer utilization and achieve targeted operational efficiencies
• Assess customer warehouse automation needs through feasibility and technical studies, proposing viable AMR solutions tailored to their requirements
• Analyze and summarize solutions for diverse customers to develop industry-specific automation applications
• Prepare technical proposals and business plans, including configuration and implementation schemes, as well as fault and troubleshooting reports

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in robotics & mechatronics, robotics and mobility/software engineering, or related technical fields
• At least one year of experience in robotics systems, sensor systems, warehouse logistics solutions, warehouse automation, or mobile robot navigation and motion planning projects
• Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) middleware commonly used in the industry
• Understanding of robotics concepts such as navigation, fleet management, sensor integration, and data flow
• Knowledge of logistics, warehouse, e-commerce (last mile), and retail sector environments
• Strong communication skills with optimism, confidence, and a passion for robotics, coupled with strong learning ability and adaptability
• Logical, analytical, and critical thinking skills to independently identify and solve problems objectively
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, including those that may be in Chinese
• Excellent collaboration skills for multidisciplinary team environments
• Passion for delivering high-quality, intuitive user experiences and adapting to new technologies

Other Information

• Salary Range and Level: Basic salary starting from SGD 4,500 per month
