Job summary

Olympiad International School in Singapore seeks a passionate French Teacher to deliver engaging lessons for Primary to Secondary students, strengthening their French language skills and cultural understanding in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum.

The successful candidate will plan, assess, and differentiate instruction, integrate technology to enhance learning, and communicate progress with parents while contributing to school events and the school's vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in French, Modern Languages, Education, or related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification such as PGDE, Diploma in Education, or Teaching License.
• Appropriate French language certification suitable for teaching levels, such as DELF/DALF, Degree in French Language or French Studies, or equivalent professional certification recognized by educational authorities.
• Minimum 1 year of French language teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum to Primary and Secondary students.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations to inform instruction and reporting.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to address diverse learning needs and promote language acquisition.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student engagement.
• Prepare students for Cambridge French assessments and examinations to ensure readiness and success.

• Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, professional development, and staff meetings.
