Job summary

UWCSEA East invites applications for a Freelance Assistant Rugby Coach [IEC] to start immediately for seasonal work. You will deliver rugby programmes to students across a K–12 curriculum and uphold the highest teaching standards with age-appropriate materials and engaging sessions.

This role requires creative lesson design and collaboration with students, colleagues and other UWCSEA team members. The successful candidate will hold a rugby coaching qualification or equivalent, be certified in

Qualifications

• Rugby coaching qualification or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification if not already held.
• Safeguarding/child protection training preferred or to be completed on appointment.
• Experience coaching individual skills and team strategy in school or club settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rugby programmes to students across a K–12 programme.
• Maintain high teaching standards with age-appropriate materials.
• Create innovative, engaging sessions that are fun and informative.
• Collaborate with students, colleagues and UWCSEA team members.
• Demonstrate health and safety awareness of the court and equipment.
