Job summary

Senses International invites a Junior Fragrance Evaluator to join our creative development team. You will bridge customer briefs, market trends and perfumery development, translating concepts into olfactive feedback and consumer-winning scents.

You will evaluate fragrances across personal care, home care, air care and fine fragrance, while collaborating with perfumers, sales and laboratory teams to ensure scent profiles meet technical standards and market expectations.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Chemistry/Business Management/Marketing skills relative to fragrance industry.
• At least 3 years of experience within fragrance, cosmetic, FMCG, personal care or related industries.
• Deep understanding of fragrance preferences for Asian Markets and worldwide trends.
• Have a creative personality to contribute to the development of unique fragrances using personal expertise and knowledge in this field.
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively support the Business Development team.
• Be a self-starter and independent individual contributor with an ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Market Research: identify consumer trends, market analysis and competitors within the fragrance industry.
• Product Development: develop scent profiles aligned with market demands with cross-category plans.
• Fragrance Development Oversight: manage fragrance development projects and provide feedback to perfumers.
• Campaign Planning: oversee marketing campaigns and translate olfactive details into client-ready stories.
• Content Creation: craft marketing materials and social media content; support sales with presentations.
• Recommendation: provide brief-based recommendations from internal library or new creations.
• Technical Performance Evaluation: lead testing including olfactive profiling and compatibility tests.
• Proactive Initiatives: drive innovation and market competitiveness in fragrance development.
• International Projects: lead global projects beyond ASEAN.
