Job summary
BRUNEL INTERNATIONAL SOUTH EAST ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Process Engineer with hands-on experience in gas compression systems for FPSO/offshore projects based in Singapore.
You will lead process design, perform simulations in Aspen HYSYS, review P&IDs, and contribute to process safety reviews such as HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL.
The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, and deliverables in line with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3-5 years hands-on detailed engineering and design of gas compression systems for offshore projects.
- Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS required.
- Experience leading HAZOP, LOPA and SIL studies.
Responsibilities
- Lead process design of gas compression systems, including PFDs, P&IDs, PSDs, and heat/mass balances.
- Prepare and optimise P&IDs for gas compression packages.
- Perform process simulations and validation using Aspen HYSYS.
- Size pipelines, pulsation bottles, scrubbers, coolers, and PSVs for gas compression skids.
- Develop firefighting system designs and hydraulic calculations.
- Prepare operating, control, and safeguarding philosophies for compression systems.
- Develop datasheets, line lists, and related deliverables.
- Lead design reviews and technical discussions with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
